Catina Scales and Topeka Sam on MSNBC mention CAN-DO RE: Alice Johnson

Catina Scales (daughter of Alice Johnson and friend of CAN-DO President Amy Povah) and colleague Topeka Sam were interviewed on MSNBC about Alice Johnson’s clemency, granted by President Trump on June 6 2018.

Topeka Sam does a great job explaining why we need to end Life Without Parole sentences.  Catina explains that others were involved, including CAN-DO that were advocating for Alice for years before Kim Kardashian got involved.  Topeka Sam connected Alice with MIC which resulted in the Video Op Ed that caught Kim Kardashian’s eye on twitter.
