According to Tony:      My main reason for seeking commutation is “family.”  As I have stated, I am extremely remorseful for my actions, and have accepted responsibility by pleading guilty.  In accepting responsibility, I have accepted my sentence that has caused me to be incarcerated for over a decade.  In that time, I have adapted to my surroundings and realized that this isn’t the place for me.

I have a great healthy and stable relationship with all of my children, as well as my family and loved ones.  They are what made me realize just how important “family” is.  They have stayed by my side since my incarceration, and have supported me all these years.

Since my incarceration, I have learned many thngs, one is that I needed to keep myself busy.  I have enrolled in many courses as you will see from my education transcript attached.  I have successfully completed every course and program I enrolled in.  That’s been my focus while in here, all for the better path in life, all tools I am able to use when I begin to walk that better path in life.

God, Family & Work is all I am about now, I am more than ready to my second chance to be involved with the community.  I know I have a stronger will than before; I know I will be successful in any workforce I apply myself.  My family needs me and I am ready to lead them to a brighter and more beautiful future.
