In September of 2013 Dennis Couchon of Clemency Report asked CAN-DO Founder Amy Povah to create the Top 25 Women we could identify that should receive clemency.  Obviously there were many more deserving women than what we listed because we are a small organization that had limited ability and contact with the prisoners we communicate with.  That said, we are proud that only 7 of the original 25 are still incarcerated.

Each Each time people come off the list, we add more names to the list so in addition to this original 25, the following have also been on the CAN-DO Top 25 who are now free.
