Cheryl Howard – Life Without Parole

will send photos – new one

My name is Cheryl Howard and I am currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for Possession with intent to distrbute 50 grams or more of “crack cocaine” and conspiracy. I was in posession of 32.4 grams on 1 occassion and 32.6 grams on another. The first time the agents and informant contacted me and set up the deal I didn’t have enough to meet the statute of “life in prison” which would’ve been 50 grams. So they set up another transaction, and aggragated the quanities that caused me to receive this sentence.

I have served 22 years on this sentence and I have to say it has been very difficult however, with the “grace and goodness” of God I have been able to overcome the many opsticles that has been placed before me. I was 26 at the time of my arrest and I am now 48. I have been placed here at the Carswell Medical facility because I had a brain anuerism January 28, 2015. I died on the compound at Aliceville and they airlifted me to Mississippi hospital where I was placed into and induced coma for 7 days. I was then taken to a hospital in Alabama, moved back to Mississippi becuase Alabama didn’t have the medical care means of taking care of me. I resided there for 52 day’s then airlifted here. I was paralyzed in both legs, and had a significant amount of memory loss. I have regained ALL MOBILITY and doing great!!
