Georgean Arsons became personally familiar with nonviolent drug offender issues and the federal Bureau of Prisons because her son served a federal prison sentence as a first-time nonviolent drug offender. Through this experience extending over many years she realizes the great need to provide support to the disenfranchised and often forgotten segment of our population: those who are incarcerated, and to proactively work for major criminal justice and incarceration reforms on behalf of nonviolent offenders.
Georgean’s employment careers include working for the University of Illinois; IT manager for a corporate telecommunications giant; multiple consulting engagements providing professional project management, computer system validation and technical writing services to major pharmaceutical companies. She lives with her husband at the Jersey shore in Sea Bright, NJ.
